Terms of Use

1. The game

Hiyoru is a free card game offered by Emanuele Roberto De Santi (Exa Studio Digitale). It is in development: rules, cards, balance and economy may change.

2. Your account

You sign in with Discord or with your email (with a code we send you). You must be at least 14 years old. Each person may have only one account and is responsible for it: do not share it and do not use other people’s accounts.

3. Game items

Ryō, cards, packs, Collectibles, pass, titles, frames and every other reward are game content with no economic value. They cannot be converted into money, sold or traded outside the game.

You have a personal license to use them, not ownership. We may change them, rebalance them or, during development, reset them if needed for the game to work properly.

4. Donations

Hiyoru is free. If you wish, you can support it with a donation on Ko-fi (one-off or monthly). Donations are voluntary and are not a purchase: they do not give Ryō, cards, packs, cosmetics, advantages or any other content in the game, nor any rights over the game or its development.

Donors can only receive thanks outside the game: the “Supporter” role on the Discord server and, if they wish, their name in the Supporters’ Hall. The chosen name must respect the rules of conduct: we may hide it if it does not.

Payment takes place on Ko-fi and follows the terms of Ko-fi and its payment providers; refunds follow their rules and the law. Monthly donations can be cancelled at any time from Ko-fi.

5. Rules of conduct

• No cheats, external programs or modifications to the game.
• No exploiting bugs: if you find one, report it with “Report a problem”.
• No multiple accounts or agreements with other players to obtain rewards.
• No offensive, harassing or illegal names, images or behavior.

6. Sanctions

If the rules are not respected we may remove rewards obtained irregularly and suspend the account temporarily or permanently, depending on the severity. For clarifications write to [email protected] or use “Report a problem”.

7. Availability

We do our best to keep the game always running and your progress safe, but there may be maintenance, interruptions or errors, especially during development. We may change or close the service, announcing it in the game when possible.

8. Intellectual property

The world of Hiyoru, the characters, illustrations, texts, music and code belong to Emanuele Roberto De Santi or to their respective authors. You may share screenshots and videos of your matches for personal use; any other use, especially commercial, requires our permission.

9. Liability

The game is offered as is. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damages due to the use of the game or its unavailability. The rights the law grants to consumers always remain unaffected.

10. Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your Profile: the profile and game data, including virtual items, will be deleted.

11. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. Important changes will be announced in the game; by continuing to play after the announcement you accept them.

12. Applicable law

Italian law applies. If you are a consumer, the court of the place where you live remains competent.
