How to install the launcher

  1. Open the Hiyoru-Setup.exe file you downloaded.
  2. If “Windows protected your PC” appears, click More info and then Run anyway.
  3. Follow the installation: you’ll find Hiyoru on your desktop and in the Start menu.
  4. Open Hiyoru: it updates itself whenever a new version comes out.

Why the warning? Hiyoru is an independent game and the launcher doesn’t have Microsoft’s digital signature yet (a paid certificate). Windows shows the same warning for every new unsigned program: it doesn’t mean there’s a virus. The file is the official one, published by Exa Studio Digitale on Hiyoru’s GitHub page. Prefer not to install anything? Play in your browser: same account and same progress.

Requires 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, about 400 MB of space, an internet connection and a Discord account or an email address.

How to start

Three steps, one minute.

1. Download the launcher for Windows, or open the game in your browser.
2. Sign in with Discord or your email: Ryō, cards and progress are saved on your account.
3. Start with the prologue of the Story: it teaches you while you play.
